As part of our observance of National Education Week, we will
honor our community for their involvement in Leland School. On
Tuesday, November 18, community members are invited to eat lunch with
our elementary students and then attend the annual Gym-o-rama
presentation by K-5 students.
Cafeteria staff will serve parents and community members at either
10:45 a.m. or 11:45 am Those wishing to eat lunch with students in
kindergarten, first and second grades should arrive for the 10:45 a.m.
seating. Those wishing to eat with students in third, fourth, and
fifth grades should arrive for the 11:45 a.m. seating. Adults will
be served and seated first; students will arrive immediately after to
join their guests.
Lunch cards may be purchased ahead of time by contacting the elementary office. If you wish to purchase your ticket on the 18th, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to secure your ticket. Lunch prices are $2.80 for adults and $2.00 for children.
The Gym-o-rama will be held at 12:45 p.m. in the High School
Gymnasium. Students in grades kindergarten through five, under the
direction of P.E. teacher, Ken Harris, will perform a variety of
activities.
Thanks to the Leland Community for the significant part you play
in helping educate our students. I hope you will be able to join
us on November 18th.
