From the Principal's Desk

Dear Leland School Community:

Thank you to all of the elementary students and families who joined us for our first PAWS Laws Family Event.  Families participated in several hands-on activities designed to link positive behavior choices at school with positive choices at home, including creating PAWS Laws bookmarks to promote reading, making organizers to hold school supplies, and developing positive behavior expectations and reward coupons for use at home.  Connecting home and school continues to be a school goal.

As the year quickly comes to a close, it is time to begin preparing for next year.  If your child is in need of a sports physical, please be aware that Sandwich Family Practice and Yorkville Family Practice will provide them at a cost of $30, beginning at 5 p.m. on the dates listed below.  Appointments are required.  Students will need to bring a completed physical form that has been signed by a parent.  (Sports physicals do not meet the requirements for school entry exams.)
