As
part of our observance of National Education Week, we will honor our
community for their involvement in Leland School. On Tuesday,
November 18, community members are invited to eat lunch with our
elementary students and then attend the annual Gym-o-rama
presentation by K-5 students.
Cafeteria staff will serve parents and community
members at either 10:45 a.m. or 11:45 am Those wishing to eat lunch
with students in kindergarten, first and second grades should arrive for
the 10:45 a.m. seating. Those wishing to eat with students in third,
fourth, and fifth grades should arrive for the 11:45 a.m. seating.
Adults will be served and seated first; students will arrive immediately
after to join their guests.
Lunch cards may be purchased ahead of time by contacting the elementary office. If you wish to purchase your ticket on the 18th, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to secure your ticket. Lunch prices are $2.80 for adults and $2.00 for children.
The Gym-o-rama will be held at 12:45 p.m. in the
High School Gymnasium. Students in grades kindergarten through five,
under the direction of P.E. teacher, Ken Harris, will perform a variety of
activities.
