Leland Middle School had their science fair on Tuesday, February 11 for all fifth through eighth graders. Iris Choi, Abby Martin, Candace Dempsey, Ana-Elisa Scheick, Cadence Beck and Alex Portillo won honorable mentions.
Emalynn Wilson won 3rd place, Piper Brennan won 2nd place, and Tinley Wold won first place with the project, “Does fertilizer pollution increase as it goes through the watershed?” The top three projects will advance to regionals at the NIU campus in Rockford on March 22nd.
