Dear Community,
The Leland School District is thrilled to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming Veterans Day Assembly! This is a day when we come together as a community to honor and express our gratitude to the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces.
Date: Wednesday, Nov 11, 2026
Time: 9 a.m.
Location: Leland High School Gymnasium
The assembly will include a variety of presentations, musical performances, and a guest speaker who will share stories and experiences in the military.
Again this year, we are looking for students and businesses to compete in the Sweat-For-A-Vet Push-Up Challenge during the assembly. We would love local businesses to donate a dollar for every push-up their assigned student can complete to raise money for the Warrior Canine Connection.
Please join us in showing support and gratitude to the heroes in our community. Feel free to bring any veterans you know, and let's make this event a memorable one!

We are excited to welcome our newest learners! Registration is now open for incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students.
Where to Register:
Main Elementary Office – Door D1 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (on school days)
What to Bring:
Completed registration form
Your child’s original birth certificate
Current proof of residency
Kindergarten Screening
Kindergarten screenings will be held April 9th and 10th.
Please stop by the office with your registration information to schedule a screening time.
Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to enroll in Kindergarten.
