A huge thank you to Jan Half, a former Leland teacher, for generously sponsoring the NIU STEAM Camp for our students this year. Thanks to her support, students from various grade levels had the opportunity to attend a range of camps — from sports and exploration to robotics. We’re incredibly grateful to Jan for making this hands-on, enriching experience possible!

Mark Your Calendars!
Leland School is excited to invite you to our annual Community Awards Night—a special evening that celebrates the partnership between our school and the greater Leland community. This year's event will take place on Thursday, May 15th at Leland School. We would love for your family to join us!
The evening will begin at 5:30 PM with a potluck dinner in the high school gym, followed by the awards ceremony at approximately 6:00 PM. Leland School will provide fried chicken; we simply ask that each family brings a dish to share. The dinner is open to the entire community.
Additional details and the evening’s agenda will be shared once finalized. We hope you'll mark your calendar and plan to attend this meaningful event.
Community Awards Night is a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience what it means to be part of a supportive, active community. Let’s come together to celebrate the achievements of the past year and all that makes Leland such a special place.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 815-495-3231 or cbickel@leland1.org.
