Due the extremely cold forecasted weather for tonight and tomorrow Leland school will be closed tomorrow Tuesday January 16th. We will return on Wednesday which will be an “A” day for middle and high school students. Thursday will be an “B” day and Friday a “C” day. Again Leland school will not be in session due to cold weather Tuesday January 16th.
Tonight's High School Boy's Basketball game against Depue has been canceled and rescheduled for Monday, February 12th. This will be Senior Night for Basketball and Cheer.
Extracurriculars for the day have been canceled. The high school boys basketball game at Earlville will be rescheduled for a later date. All other practices are canceled. Stay Safe! The basketball game has been rescheduled for January 24th at 5:30 pm this game will be at Earlville.
Mr. Bickel put out a call informing that school for tomorrow Tuesday January 9th will be canceled due to the forecasted weather and projected road conditions. Updates on extracurricular activities will be posted and shared tomorrow throughout the day. Again, tomorrow, January 9th, Leland school will be closed for a snow day.

Next week the Panther Wonderland starts, and students have the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts for family members. Hours are Monday during lunch and after school till 6 pm. Wednesday during lunch and Friday during lunch and after school till 4:30 pm.
The Sophomore class will be selling Rock Candy candy grams during lunches next week, December 11th through 15th. There are 8 different flavors and colors of candy grams. Each candy gram is $2.00 each. Be sure to send all of your friends a candy gram for the holidays. Candy grams will be delivered to students' homerooms on December 18th and 19th.
Tonight is 8th Grade night for Boys' Basketball and Cheer. Come show your support by packing the stands in GREEN!!

For the month of November Leland School is hosting a Penny Drive for The American Diabetes Association. If we raise $400 the class that raises the most will get to tape Mr. Bickel to the wall for 2 hours. Every extra $100 will add another hour.
